| Word is Acer is about to announce, over at Mobile World Congress, the Acer Aspire One 532g, a new Pinetrail netbook with an Atom N450 processor and the next generation Nvidia ION platform. We’ll call it ION 2 since there is still no official name for it. Not only that, but it will sport the new dynamic switching Optimus technology to switch between integrated GMA 3150 graphics and Nvidia ION graphics on the fly. Acer Aspire One 532g specs * 10-Inch display (looks like 1024 x 600) LaptopMag says it has a 10-inch display, Wi-Fi, optional 3G, 10 hour battery life and will have an official announcement in March sometime. nDevil has a screenshot up of the device manager on the 532g. Gizmodo’s update reveals that the 532g is one inch thin and 1kg in weight. Will be available in blue, red and silver. HDMI output with 7.1 channels. That’s all the info so far. Incidentally, this would be Acer’s first ION powered notebook / netbook. News Source: Netbooked |
