| This day marks a new chapter in Netbook Updates history. No, it isn't a corporate takeover or anything of that sort. We just have a new perspective article that is not on a Netbook, Nettop or Netbook processor. Well not really anyways, today's article is about a new MID (Mobile Internet Device) that has recently gone on sale internationally. It's from a Korean company called Mintpass, and they have always believed in creating a device that they had designed and today it is finally here. Their ultimate goal is "To be connected" between both consumers and producers. On Netbook Updates, we make this happen by connecting the consumers with the companies and here we seem to share a common goal. Anyways, enough about the company, let's get into their product. The Mintpass Mintpad, an all-in-one MID/device, for we lack of a better term to describe this device.

Submitted by shc-boomer on Sun, 06/28/2009 - 16:58| It's hard to believe that it's almost been a year since Netbook Updates started up. From posting daily news to our in house articles, we have been growing stronger in both traffic and readers. It's been a long while since our last perspective articles back in November of last year on the HP Mini 1000. Not too much has actually changed to revolutionize the market. From the boring introduction of the AMD Neo to the Z series Atom being put into netbooks and let's not forget the N280. Regardless of all that, netbooks are still growing strong and getting slimmer and bigger at the same time. The proof of slim is right here with the Asus Eee PC 1005HA, which we will do an in depth article on today.

Perspectives | AMD Athlon 64 2000+ outperforms Intel Atom
Submitted by shc-boomer on Mon, 08/18/2008 - 23:47| In some of the latest news posted on Netbook updates, the AMD Athlon 64 2000+ outperforms the Intel Atom. Not only that, but it is able to be more power efficient than the Intel Atom. This seems to be some great news for AMD, but is it as good as it sounds. So based on the article from Tom's Hardware, I will try and summarize and to put this all into perspective It may seem too good to be true that AMD finally has something to fight back at Intel with. Even I was surprised when I first read through the title of the article. I decided to read through the article and try my best to find how good it really is in comparision to the Intel Atom. So let's sift through the results. [Extended, read on by clicking title or read more button] |
