So from all of us here at Netbook Updates we wish everyone a Merry Christmas. So everyone enjoy the rest of their night, we're all probably full of food and winding down on the holidays. So take time tomorrow to rest and relax and get mentally prepared for those sales on Boxing Day well, in Canada anyways. We could always hit the gym in the new year right? I know I will have to. Being true to our promise we announce our August giveaway. For once we will have two prizes for the price of one. One person will win both of these prizes and can use it for whatever they like. Most likely this will be good for Netbooks that need additional storage, especially the early Eee PCs. I know I used an SD card in there for storage. It can even be used in a cell phone or in a camera with the included SD adapter. The second item is great for wireless file transfer from your cellphone to your netbook. Anyways, the prize this time around is a Kingston 4GB Micro SDHC card and a USB Bluetooth adapter. | |

Wow, can you believe it has almost been a year since we started Netbook Updates. Well, I can't so I decided its time for another giveaway. After our first giveaway back in August of 2008, we decided to get bigger. This time around we are going to have 2x the fun and 2x the storage. We will be hosting a contest at least once a month until August for our grand prize giveaway.
So to start off here are some pictures of the prize:
Again, most netbooks with SSDs could use the extra storage and hey an extra thumb drive never hurts. So we got our hands on a Zotac 2GB thumb drive to give away. So its free stuff regardless of what it is. You could always re gift it or something. Whatever you do with it is your problem not ours so don't go downloading that unmentionable stuff.

Special News | Look! Asus Product!
Submitted by shc-boomer on Fri, 03/20/2009 - 09:28After more than one year of use, I have finally replaced my Asus Eee PC 701. It has been replaced by yet another Asus product. However, it is technically a notebook but in reality it has performance and size close to a netbook. It is the Asus N10J notebook/netbook with a discrete Nvidia 9300M GS. A full review will be posted up sometime soon, but here are some photos to take a look at.
